Lymphatic Continuing Education Classes
8 Hour – Introduction to Vodder, anatomy and physiology review, basic overview, hands on with each student participating. $200.00/ therapist
16 Hour Mobilization 1 – Introduction to Vodder / Hybrid alternatives, A & P review, basic overview, advanced techniques, drainage sequencing, hands on with clients. $400.00 per therapist
Classes can break down into 2, 8 hour or 4, 4 hour days and is flexible around your organizations, work schedule. Days can be in succession , weekends, or a single day over 4 weeks’ time.
8 Hour Mobilization 2 – This is an advanced course that will provide an in-depth overview of the lymphatic system and the application of advanced lymphatic massage techniques focusing on clients with surgical augmentation for clients desiring physical enhancement using cosmetic plastic surgery. The participant will learn the advanced application of Lymphatic drainage techniques within the massage therapists’ scope of practice. The instructor will cover certification options for formal certification. Prerequisite – Mobilization 1 $200.00 per therapist

Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy will be offering my 24 hours of continuing education in Oncology Massage this fall. To provide our attending therapists the opportunity to have a “hands on” experience, we are asking for your support. If you, or someone you know, has recently, or in the past, been diagnosed with cancer and are open to receiving a relaxing, therapeutic bodywork session, we would like to invite you to participate in a complimentary clinic experience on Saturday, October 11 or Sunday the 12th. You will have an opportunity to meet your therapists prior to your scheduled session, where they can hear your story and explore ways they might help. All sessions are designed to meet the Oncology massage standards. We look forward to hearing from you.
I can, of course, offer either of these learning opportunities at your location or mine in New Britain PA. They are all hands-on with the opportunity to practice on actual clients.
